Florene Tyler, 92, of Benton went to her Heavenly home Tuesday, February 14, 2017. She was born June 4, 1924 and was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church.
She was married in 1944 to Kenneth Tyler, Sr. when they met at the Deaf School in Little Rock. They were owners of The Enterprise Shoe Shop for over 50 years. She loved to sew, cook, travel, and smile. She loved her family and friends and being around people.
Florene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and by a cherished daughter, Dorothy Spradlin.
She leaves behind two daughters, Bonnie Tallent and Ann Turbyfill (Van); one son, Kenneth Tyler, Jr. (Carolyn) all of Benton, and eight grandchildren, Cheryl Otwell (Eddie), Debora Midgett (Greg), Melinda Tudor (Paul), Tim Pruitt (Jennifer), Mark Pruitt (Tifaney), Amy Wright (Darby), Bliss Kelly (Josh), and Jaye Spradlin. She was the Mamaw to 15 great grandkids and 8 great-great grand babies.
A time of visitation will be held at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) Thursday evening February 16, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at Sharon Cemetery officiated by Bro. Muncie Harris. Pallbearers are Josh Kelly, Will Tudor, Jaye Spradlin, Wade McNeil, Josh McNeil, and Paul Tudor.
A special thanks to all the Home Health Nurses, Hospice Caregivers, and all who helped in these last several months.
