James ''Jimmy'' R. Wright, 81 of Benton passed away September 4, 2015 in Bryant. He was born in Vilonia, AR to the late Oralee Wright Reeves and Fred Wright. Mr. Wright was a believer in Jesus, loved being with his wife, Janet and family. He loved the outdoors, fishing, running, camping, and being on the beach. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Benton and worked for Alcoa Chemical Plant for 40 years.
Preceding him in death were his parents, stepfather, Virgil Ross Reeves; one grand-daughter, Kara Diane Wright (at one day old).
Survivors include his wife Janet of the home; two sons James Richard Wright, Jr and wife, Terri of Benton, Fred Edward Wright and wife, Jana of Maumelle; two daughters, Donna Delores Reynolds and husband, Charlie, of Benton, Pamela Lanise Turner and husband, Mark of Camden; eight grandchildren Courtney Cochran and husband, Amos, James Wright and wife, Emily, Molly Wright, Taylor Wright, Kameron Jones and husband, Bryan, Markie Turner, Jacob Wright, and Joshua Wright; four great-grandchildren Maddie, Jude, Lucy Cochran and Vincent Wright; one sister, Julia Campbell of Colorado; and two brothers, Fred E. Wright and Ross Reeves, both of Benton; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10:00 A.M., at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) in Benton with Bro. David Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Smith Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton. Serving as pallbearers will be Amos Cochran, James Wright, Jacob Wright, Joshua Wright, Taylor Wright and Steve Reeves.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday evening, September 7, 2015 at the funeral home from 6:30 P.M. To 8:00 P.M.

He was my first football coach for the Future Panther League Tigers. He taught me teamwork and was inspiring in my athletic development in future years. I played many years after leaving Benton in 1970. I've always remembered him saying you have the ability to become the best just don't ever forget that. Bless you all.
Jimmy was long time neighbor and very likable man, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I am sorry for your great loss.

Mr. Wright was a wonderful family man. He always spoke highly of his wife, children, grandchilren, and greatgrands.
For the year that my children and I lived acrossed the street from Mr. and Mrs. Wright, they were always so loving and caring. He will be deeply missed. God gained another angel. My prayers go out to Mrs. Janet and all the family.

We will miss this good man. We have many memories of times together over the last 40 years. He was a person with great morals and determination and a deep love of family. We are blessed to have know him and his family.
