Kenneth, Kevin, Leisha We were shocked to hear this sad news. Mom and I had been in Mississippi and did not get back until late yesterday. Melana Mayes sent me a message and said she thought she would see me at the visitation. We certainly would have been there if we had known. Our sincere sympathy to you all in this loss, we love you all very much.

My greatest love and support go to the entire Davis family. Barbara is probably making arrangements for more balloon rides and Heavenly adventures even now. Until we meet our family again, remember her joy for life and live yours to the fullest as she would have wanted.God's comfort and His best to you is my prayer.

Mr Davis Kevin and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Barbara passing. I will always appreciate how she took time with me on flowers. When my now 30 year old son was born, she told his dad to take two lavender roses home. I've been growing them ever since...Much Love and many prayers to you and your family,Dorcas and Larry Ramsay

I was so saddened to hear of Mrs. Barbara passing. She was absolutely one of the kindest hearted people I have ever known. I remember when I was planning my wedding she said "Honey don't you worry about a thing I will take care of it all", and she did!

She will be truly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Kenneth, Kevin & Leisha you all and your families are in my prayers.

So surprised and sorry to hear of Barbara's passing; but just as delighted to read of her continued involvement in the church through the years. Her Obituary gives evidence to the truth from the Bible that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". Our prayers are with the family.

May our Lord give comfort to each of you,

Dewey Hickey

I remember her as a wonderful girl and a wonderful lady. Always with a smile. I believe it was at our 2012 reunion that she cooked a mess of purple hulled peas (my favorite food on earth) and brought a kitchen container almost full for me to take home. None of it made it home with me. I ate all of it that afternoon in my hotel room before I even got out of town. I ate nothing but the peas for supper.
I have many good memories of Barbara and our school days. I always liked her a lot.

I know Barbara served God and I know Angels welcome her and heaven celebrates the everlasting peace and joy of one who has just come home. May God’s peace comfort you now.

We had so many good times together. I can not remember all of them because we had a good time when ever we were together from the time she moved to Bryant until now, that covers a lot of time. I will truly miss her.

Kenneth,

So sorry to hear about Barbara. I will always remember all the baked goodies she made for us when we were at Alcoa. And, all the beautiful arrangement she designed. She was a very talented lady. I know you are feeling a great loss. But know that you are loved by many.
