Alta M. Rogers

Alta M. Rogers, 91 of Benton, died October 31, 2009 at Saline Memorial Hospital. She was born January 30, 1918 in Fenter, Arkansas. She was a retired LPN from Saline Memorial Hospital with twenty years of service. Alta loved her family, spending time with her grandchildren and was very active in her church, Calvary Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Rogers.

She is survived by sons, Hollis Rogers (Beverly) of Benton, Billy Rogers of Glen Rose; one daughter, Barbara Massey of Benton; one brother, James Cloud of Haskell; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and special friend and neighbor, Winnie Colatt.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Roller Ballard Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Roller Ballard with Rev. Oscar Golden officiating. Interment will follow at New Rosemont Memorial Park.
