Novel Evans, age 92, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016, in Harrison. She was born June 1, 1923, in Snowball, Arkansas, the daughter of Seymour C. and Floyd (Phillips) Taylor. Along with her parents, Novel was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Evans. She was of the Baptist faith.
Novel is survived by her sisters, Fontilla Halstead and Deanna Rushing; her brother, Delno Taylor; and a host of other family.
Funeral service was Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to service.
Interment was in Snowball Cemetery.

Novel was a sweetheart, and we loved her dearly. She worked for us for about four years, at JH McClintock's Restaurant, in Harrison, Arkansas.
Our five kids adored her, as well, and adopted her as their Arkansas Grandma..!
God has received a Very Special Angel.
Rest in Peace, Dear Novel, until we meet again.
