Ida M. Rogers Kilpatrick, age 87, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away March 1, 2016 at Cabot. Mrs. Kilpatrick was born December 2, 1928 at Cross County, Arkansas to the late Robert and Carrie Grantham.
She is survived by two sons, George Rogers (Julie) of Jasper, Arkansas and Tony Rogers (Loretta) of Simpsonville, South Carolina; three daughters, Brenda Ford (Jackie) of Marvell, Arkansas, Annette Walton (Ewell) of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Jennene Chamness (Todd) of Cabot; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Lee Grantham and Robert Grantham; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, George ''Buddy'' Rogers; one brother, Herden Grantham; and two sisters, Dora Hamlett and Jeweline Guest.
A service for Ida Rogers Kilpatrick will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016 at County Line Baptist Church in Marvell. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Jimmy Casey will officiate.
Pallbearers are Jacob Wallace, Johnathan Chamness, John Guest, Steve Guest, Winston Guest and Todd Chamness.
Memorials may be made to County Line Missionary Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
