What a wonderful, kind woman Cousin Ozell was. And what a great friend she was to my mother., Ruth Junki9n. They raised their kids together and gardened together forever. The world has lost a gentle soul and great person.

I was saddened to read of the death of Ozell. She was a kind and gracious lady. I enjoyed her wisdom that she shared with us at the Iris Society. She will be missed.

Dear Family,

Our thoughts went back 65+ years as we remember our love for Mrs. Purtle at Capital City Casket Company. (Sammie is now 91, and we just celebrated our 65th wedding anniversary.)

Please know that we always had the highest regard for Mrs. Purtle.

Our love and sympathy,

Zeal and Sammie Strange

Ozell was one of the warm and generous members of the Central Arkansas Iris Society who welcomed me upon joining back in the 1980s. I valued our friendship. I am sad to lose her, but her memory lives and shines in my memory... and the same is true for many others, too, I'm sure.
