It is sad to hear that we have lost another member of the 1962 class of GHS. Tommy was such a sweet young boy He was very kind to everyone and always had a smile.. I guess the last time I saw him was at graduation. Prayers to his family.
Ms. Doris, I am so sorry to hear about Tom. Please let me or Sheila know if there is anything we can do for you. Tom will be missed by many.
We will miss this guy terribly!! Although James had only known him for the past 6 years, Tommy was one of his best friends. I had known him since I was a little girl and lived across the road from them. Many fond memories of your family over the years. We rejoice in the those memories of Tommy and his life and knowing where he is today, but gosh, we're gonna miss him as our a friend. Hold on tight to God's hand as we know Tommy is doing in heaven. Bless each of you during your time of sorrow and know we love you.
I only had the privilege of working with Tommy for 12 years. He was always whistling and happy-go-lucky of a morning. He and I would discuss our love for music and playing and singing it. We will all miss his smiling face here at work. But we will tell stories of him for many years to come. His spirit will live on thru our memories of him.
Doris, Missy, Mike & Caleb, I know you are hurting, but keep smiling in his memory. Rest In Peace, Tommy.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
So sorry Tommy had to suffer for so long.
May God wrap his arms of love around all of you!

I am so deeply sorry for your loss Mrs. Doris. Mr. Tom was truly a wonderful man and I will miss his sweet smiling face in your office. I pray your memories will fulfill your heart so much that sadness never gets a chance.
Dear Howell Family,
I have many fond memories of getting in trouble with Tommy Gene - as we all called him in our classes at Greenbrier. Maybe we were just "mischievous" boys, but Mr. Crownover, Mr. Brents and Ms. Schmidt were intent on reforming us and they did!. I considered him a Good Friend during those years. He and I drove his "ole green" 1950 Ford F-100 Truck on many a Sunday afternoon. Well, we drove it after we did some "fixing" at Mr. Cecil Garrett's shop every other weekend. It seems he and I were forever repairing something on it. He will be missed and may our gracious God give you comfort as He truly can at such times of loss. Our sincere prayers. Bob and Margaret Acre
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Mrs. Doris, Missy, Michael and Caleb-
