January 20, 1929 - January 24, 2015

Arlin Edward Brandon, 86, of Trumann, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Arlington Cove Healthcare. He was born January 20, 1929 in Poughkeepsie to Carroll and Rosie Brandon. He was a woodcarver for Singer Sewing Company.

He is survived by his nephew, Jim and Janet Brandon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carroll and Rosie Brandon; four brothers Richard, Edgar, Robert and Ray Brandon; and three sisters Sarah Melton, Virgie Harrison and Fay Wallis.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John W. Booker officiating. A committal service will follow at 1:30 pm in Spotts Cemetery near Poughkeepsie.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Ann Martin, James and Betty Reeves and the staff and management at Arlington Cove Healthcare.

I will always remember the times where you would come to where I work in trumann and we would sit and talk for hours. You reminded me so much of my grandpa Robert it wasn't funny. I miss him everyday and I will miss you everyday as well. You was an inspiration to myself because you taught me so much just by our talks. Give everyone a hug for me till I see you again. I love you
