Lonnie Melvin Shaddon, 85, of Booneville, Ark. died October 20, 2014. He was born April 30, 1929 in Horatio, Ark. the son of Edgar and Rosie (Pruitt) Shaddon. Lonnie was a logger and a cattle farmer. He loved fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his wife, of fifty-eight years, Johnnie Faye (Chamberlain) Shaddon; his parents; two sisters, Gerlene Crossman and Shirley Shaddon; two brothers, Joe and Donnie Shaddon; one son, Ricky Shaddon; and one grandson, Greg Duvall.
Lonnie is survived by five daughters, Amaryllis Corbin of Mena, Janey Duvall and husband Lonnie of Atkins, Rhonda Elmore and husband Arnold of Huntington, Carla Tuck and husband Cliff of Mountain Home, and Lutisha Selby and husband Randy of Kalispell, Montana; two sons, Clinton Shaddon and wife Debra of Booneville, and Raymond Shaddon and wife Lori of Atkins; one sister Bonnie Dale and husband Donnie of Banks, Oregon; two brothers, Frank Shaddon and wife Charlene of Waldron, and Lee Shaddon and wife Pat of Dover; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Clinton, Caleb, Collin, Josh, and Justin Shaddon and Thomas Mays.
Graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Antioch Cemetery near Booneville under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.

We had the opportunity to meet Lonnie a few summers ago. Very nice man.He will be missed. Prayers go out to all the family.
I know i didn't know you good gramps but it sucks hat i didn't get to come see you when i got older and introduced your great great grandson Eli. but we will still love and miss you very much. you will be a;ways in our hearts Always remember you for the man you was.
