He was preceeded in death in 2004 by his dear wife Rachel E. High. He was brother of, and also predeceased by, Royce R. High, Keller Mae (High) Hatley, and Milo Burns High. Son of Sam B. High and Mary Ozelle (Knight) High.
Neighbor and friend for decades to Delia (Smith) and Claude Owen, Mary "Hardy" Smith, and Frances "Mary Jane" Smith on Cindy Lane, in the Frayser neighborhood, in Memphis, TN. He is the last of that group of friends to pass.
"Mr. High" remained a dear friend to Delia's niece Dana Davis, to her husband Troy, and especially to their dog Molly, all of whom will miss him terribly.
