I am so sorry to hear about Woodie's passing. He was such a nice man and a friend of our family for as long as I can remember. His kindness is what stood out about him and what I think of most when I think of him. My heart goes out to his family.

To Ms.Mary and Woodie's family:
Because of Christ's victory over Death, the grave is not final. We naturally will feel sorrow and grief when those we love die and we are separated from them in this life. But the believer does not grieve as one who has no hope (1 Thess.4:13). The witness of Jesus' resurrection is that all Christians will one day be taken from their graves to be clothed with glorified resurrection bodies (1 Cor.15:41-44) And so "we shall always be with the Lord" (1 Thess.4:17)___ Dennis Fisher. The hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth.
Because Christ is alive, we too shall live. As a Christain I know that Woodie is with our Lord and Saviour and that we will see him again in the hereafter. God says in his house are many rooms and Jesus has gone to prepare our Heavely home. God Bless your family and hold on to the thoughts of Jesus's promise that whomsoever shall believe in him shall not die but have everlasting life. Kay & OD Burtcher

Woodie was not only my friend but also my mentor. He taught me almost everything I know about painting, and I thank him for that. We had a unique friendship that I will cherish forever. Woodie will remain in my heart forever. I love you man. R.I.P.

I will truly miss the lessons Woodie would teach me on Friday's while playing shuffle board at the VFW 9095, they would be ones of encouragement and of friendship. Praying for you Mary, may God be your strength. Much love, DG

I met "Woodie" through Ms. Mary Bivens and he was always quiet, but also one of the sweetest, kindest men and he loved her dearly. He was always sitting in the recliner watching movies and spending time with Ms. Mary. I remember when he backed into the fence and just the look on his face. Was like why did that fence just hit my truck...he was always waving Hi to me and never had a bad word to say. I will miss him and I know he is yet another wonderful Angel that's looking all who he loves. He will rest with God and we will see his smiling face again on the other side. I will continue to pray for his family and Ms. Mary for their loss.
