My sympathies to the family. I was Ms Annie's nurse's aide back in the mid 1990's. I remember Bud and the family fondly. It was a wonderful home with happiness and lots of sweet pets. Peace and best to Missy, the kids (now all grown up!), and Irene, who I remember well too. Bless you.

I've known Bud Johnson since I was thirteen. He was an extrodinary man and a good friend. My son, James C. Shofner married Bud's beautiful daughter, Jennifer. Bud loved God and loved his children and grand-children. When others forsaked Bud or broke his heart it was his children who lifted him up and stuck by him, even to the end of his life. What remarkable children he has!! Bud passed from this earth right into the loving arms of Jesus. Remember the good times you shared with him. Remember his smile - his delight when he saw his grand-children. Most of all remember his love. Because of each of you, Bud was blessed.
