Linda Kay Hood, 61, of Gainesville, TX formerly of Hornlake, MS. died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Hood was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her son, Truman Hood of Gainsville, TX; two daughters, Sondra Gillespie of Indianapolis, IN and Anita Scrivner of Owensboro, KY; six grandchildren; four sisters, Pauline Fare of Gillette, WY, Billy Young of West Memphis, AR, Joy Harrell of Proctor, AR and Shirley Lambert of Parkin, AR and one brother, Richard Farmer of Sheridan, AR.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Farmer and Beatrice Farmer and her husband, Truman Hood.
Visitation will be August 27, 2012 starting at Noon at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with services following at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be at Parkin Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to ABBA of Gainesville, TX and Williams Syndrome Family of Home.
