Velma Dean Williams, age 89, passed away August 21, 2012 at her home in Saline County. She was born May 6, 1923 in Aplin, Arkansas to the late Clay Camp, Sr. and Eva Carter Camp. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Williams; daughters, Shirley Ann Johnson, Brenda K. Williams; brothers, Farris Camp, Clay Camp, Jr. and sister, Bonnie Camp.
She is survived by sons, Manuel D. Williams of Sheridan, Arkansas; James Clay Williams of Buckville, Arkansas; daughters, Carol Johnson, Shirley Ann Johnson; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2012 at Salem Cemetery in East End. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800.
