Mrs. Paula Louise Davidson

Paula Louise Davidson, 74, of Booneville, Arkansas passed away August 17, 2012. She was born October 4, 1937 in Willoughby, Ohio to John Sidney and Ruth Alida (Cohn) Clarkson. She was an alcohol therapist retiree with the County of San Luis Obispo in California. After retiring she managed one of her four pet stores for twenty years. Paula was an avid bowler and liked nothing more than gathering with her bowling buddies and having a good game. She loved country music, fishing and truly loved all her “grandies”. Paula was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Alda Lathrop and Luana Marshall; and one brother, Dan Clarkson.

She is survived by her husband T/Sgt Bobby Lewis Davidson of the home; two daughters, Linda Ann (Davidson) Sanford and husband Howard of Cayucos, California, Sharon Leigh (Davidson) Fox and husband Dan of Booneville; three sons, Michael Lewis Davidson and wife Melanie of Visalia, California, Charles Ernest Davidson and wife Kaye of Booneville and Timothy Dale Davidson of Columbia, South Carolina; one brother, James Clarkson of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Jillian Davidson, Brandon Davidson, Jeremy Davidson, Jennifer Davidson, Kimberly Davidson, Luke Freeman, Mathew Sanford, Benjamin Sanford and Dolan Fox; three great-grandchildren, McKayla Davidson, Jayden Davidson, and Ryile Perry.

Pallbearers will be Michael Davidson, Charles Davidson, Timothy Davidson, Larry Davidson, Dan Fox and Dolan Fox. Honorary pallbearers will be John Clarkson, James Clarkson and Scott Michael Jorden.

Visitation will be 6-8 Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Booneville Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.
