On Wednesday July 18, 2012 Carol Ray Starr went home to be with our Lord. Carol was the son of the late Virgil Lee Starr and Edna Mae Holloway. Carol is survived by his wife of 44 years Mattie Lou Starr and daughter Renee Parnell and husband Scott, daughter Madelyn Richmond and husband Tony, daughter Jackie Maxwell, and son Matthew Starr and wife Melissa Starr, son Joey Balentine and wife Adrienne. Grandchildren Brandi McNew, Chris McNew, Kim McNew, Samantha Fullaway, Ethan Fullaway, Natasha Richmond, Nash, Bianca, Skye, Jessica Maxwell, Destini Starr, Devan Starr, Desarai Starr, Dylan Starr, Hadley Balentine. Great grandchild Heather Anna McNew.
A graveside service will be held at Cypress Valley Cemetery Friday July 20, 2012 @ 10:00 a.m., by Roller McNut Funeral Home of Conway, officiated by Brother Norman Powell.
Pallbearers for Carol will be Chris McNew, Todd Gentry, Jimmy Scott Gentry, Andrew Shell, Carey Copeland, Michael Branscum, Bud Bradley, Blake Copeland, Dale Hipp, and Mathew Shane Williams.
