Della Sneathern Elrod

Della Mae Elrod, 70, of Melbourne died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at a nursing home in Melbourne.
She was born January 7, 1942 in Boswell, Arkansas and was the daughter of Charles Sneathern and Areatha Vines Sneathern.
Survivors include her son, Denny Elrod and his wife Joy of Melbourne; four grandchildren: Thomas Bolen Elrod, Cecily Elrod, Jonah Elrod and Logan Elrod; two brothers, Elvis Sneathern and his wife Wanda of Mount Pleasant and Charles Rayburn Sneathern and his wife Barbara of Marion; and cousins: Debbie Vines Vest of Mountain Home and Mike Vines of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil Elrod; and a brother Lowell Sneathern.
Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Melbourne with Bro. Rick Brooks and Bro. Shannon Smith officiating. Burial followed at Lunenburg Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Bo Elrod, Billy Cowan, W. C. Evans, Jim Goodman, Kevin Sneathern, and Greg Sneathern. Honorary pallbearers were Bro. Jerry Summer and Haywood Britt.
Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
