Perry Newt Nelson, 57, of Conway passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012. He was a son of Luda (Bennett) Nelson and the late William Newt Nelson.

Perry was from the Little Rock Fire Department. He was a talented artist and musician. He was beloved by many great nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his mother, Luda (Bennett) Nelson; brother, Ritchie and Sherry Nelson; and cousins, Dennis Fisher, Arna Edwards, and Mickey Strickland.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Crestlawn Memorial Park followed by internment. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway.
