Martha Kay McArthur
February 14, 1961 - May 4, 2012

Martha Kay McArthur, 51, of Enola, died May 4, 2012. She was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi on February 14, 1961. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Cleve D. Foster and Dorothy Whittington. She is preceded in death by her father and her son, Steven Matthew McArthur.

Mrs. McArthur was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, she was known as Ms. Kay by all her friends. Ms. Kay was a loving and caring teacher at Mt. Vernon-Enola Elementary School. She had a great love for people, especially children. She loved animals, especially the throw away ones that no one wanted.

She is survived by her husband, Steven H. McArthur of Enola; two sons, Steven McArthur, Jr. and his wife, Candace, and John Andrew McArthur, all of Enola; her mother, Dorothy Whittington of Potts Camp, Mississippi; a sister, Rita Cook of Potts Camp, Mississippi; four brothers, Gary Foster of Kokomo, Indiana, Phillip Foster of North Little Rock, John Foster of Vilonia and Ronald Foster of Kokomo, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Camryn Grace McArthur of Greenbrier and Addison Rose McArthur of Enola. She had many loving and caring friends, however, she had a very special relationship that words cannot describe with Annette Leach.

She is gone but never forgotten.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2012, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, in Conway. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Marcus Hill Cemetery.
