Clay Moser, 58, of Melbourne went to join the Lord on Friday, May 4, 2012 in Batesville. Born October 27, 1953 in Batesville, he was the son of Travis and Kathryn (Martin) Moser. He grew up in Mount Pleasant graduating from high school in 1971. He retired in 1994 from Century Telephone Company after 26 years of service. Clay was also a farmer and operated his own company, C. M. Refinement, until 1999. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren; enjoyed playing golf, and was an avid Razorback fan. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Jackson) Moser of the home; daughters: Nichole Parks and her husband, Joey of Cushman; and D. D. Traub and her husband, Charlie also of Cushman; grandchildren: Carlie and Coleton Traub of Cushman; his parents: Travis and Kathryn of Mount Pleasant; sisters: Sandra Moser and her husband, Joe, of Sage and Shana Mynatt and her husband, Jeff, of Mount Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Wayne and Virginia Martin and Emmett and Ruby Moser. Pallbearers will be Fred Lamb, Mike Cone, Harvey Moody, Arlen Marsyla, Harlin Hames, and Lowell Wheelis. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Lee and Dean Hutchins.. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Roller-Crouch Chapel in Melbourne with Leonard Tharp officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
