Douglas L. Chrestman
November 12, 1933 - May 2, 2012

Mr. Douglas Leon Chrestman, 78, of Byhalia, Mississippi, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at his home. Mr. Chrestman was a Shipping Clerk for Wonder Bread Company and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Byhalia, Mississippi.

Mr. Chrestman is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mrs. Elizabeth Lee Gustavus Chrestman; two sons, Danny (Sheree) Chrestman of Marion, AR and Tracy (Jennifer)Chrestman of Byhalia, MS; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Little of Port Orange, FL and Jeanette Stallings of Olive Branch, MS; six brothers, Charles Chrestman of Olive Branch, MS, Wayne Chrestman of Nesbit, MS, Donny Chrestman of Hughes, AR, Richard Chrestman of Proctor, AR, Raymond Chrestman of Proctor, AR and Raiford Chrestman of Coldwater, MS.

Mr. Chrestman was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Ada Chrestman and two brothers, Ruben and Les Chrestman.

Family request that memorials be made to Methodist Aliance Hospice, 6423 Shelby View Dr. Memphis, TN. 38134 or Macedonia Baptist Church 14910 Cathy Rd. Byhalia, MS. 38611.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Services will be Friday, May 4, 2012 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR.
