Lieutenant Commander Henry B. Cook
November 30, 1933 - April 30, 2012

Lieutenant Commander Henry B. Cook U. S. Navy Retired, 78, of West Memphis, Arkansas died Monday April 30, 2012 at Crittenden Regional Hospital.

Mr. Cook was a retired Lieutenant Commander from the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mr. Cook was also a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Arkansas Breeder Club, and a member of the National Greyhound Association.

Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Jean Hull Cook; parents, Wiley and Jewel Cook; one brother, Thomas Cook and one sister Rose Sims.

He is survived by his wife, Gwinda Colson Cook; two daughters, Jane Sevin of Houma, LA and Joyce Cummins of Crossett, AR; two sons, Tom Cook of West Memphis, AR and Jerry Cook of Cabot, AR; four grandchildren, Brittany Cummins, Casey Dison, Jessi Cook and Hannah Sevin; one great-grandchild, Camden Cook; two brothers, Wiley Cook of Albany, GA and Lee Cook of Cordele, GA.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Services will be Wednesday, May 2, 2012 10:00 A.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with internment following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR.

Memorials may be made to a Charity of your choice.
