Woody Brody Johnson, age 2, of Everton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. The son of Westley and Tabitha (Aldridge) Johnson, he was born January 25, 2010, in Harrison. Woody was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Shannon Johnson and Sheila Corine; his grandfather, Woody Johnson; his great-grandma Gatlin; his uncle, Bud Winton; and his great-uncle, Jerry Johnson.
Woody was his daddy’s boy but he had his momma’s heart. He loved playing with his sisters. He was a lil’ mechanic who loved riding his 4-wheeler. Even at a young age, he knew how to make his 4-wheeler go. The sound of vroom, vroom is what you would hear as he ran his cars and trucks across the floor. He would ride his radio flyer tricycle that he got for his birthday up and down the sidewalk. You would see his long blonde curly hair sway in the wind as he pulled his little red wagon.
Woody shared his sisters’ passion for music. He loved to “boogie down”. His big blue eyes lit up a room. He was the most beautiful baby boy ever! His spirit was gentle and personality bold. He stole every heart in a room full of people. Woody will continue to own all the hearts he touched. No need for goodbyes, we will see you later. Sisters, baby brother, daddy’s world and mommy’s best friend, Wood Brody, we love you!
Along with his parents, Woody is survived by his sisters, Jaida Johnson and Emberlynn Johnson; his grandparents, Bill Aldridge, Barbie Kirkland, and "Granny" Virgi Surett; and his great-grandparents, William and Violet Aldridge, Virgil and Dottie Johnson, and Johnny and Carolyn Gatlin.
Woody is also survived by his aunts, Jamie Sagers, Tricia Henderson, Tiffany Bray and Kayla Eddings; and his uncles, William Aldridge, Jeff Johnson, Shawn Campbell and Josh Campbell.
Visitation was Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers were the staff of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
