Sylvia Lee LaBarbera, 87, of Benton passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born on August 16, 1924 in Benton, IL to the late Raymond Everett and Birdie Lee Carroll Stevens. Her husband, Enrico LaBarbera and three brothers, Carroll Stevens, James E. Stevens, and Loren Stevens also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Craig LaBarbera and wife Cherie of Rockwall, TX; one grandson, Jason LaBarbera and wife Cheryl of Livermore, CA; two granddaughters, Gina Washam and husband John of Little Rock and Shelley Somes and husband Adam of Ellsworth, ME; two nephews, Eddy Stevens of West Frankfort, IL and Jim Stevens of Festus, MO; sister-in-law, Rose Macaluso of San Jose, CA, and three great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Olivia, and Genevieve LaBarbera.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Phil Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening, April 28th at the funeral home.
