Leonard H. Wall, age 77, of Walnut Ridge, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 29, 1934 to Ezra and Elizabeth (Lizzie)Wall. He was in the land clearing business until he decided to go into farming and raising cattle. When he retired he went to the farm where his boys were working saying that they may need me. He was a member of the Church of Christ and Woodsmen of the World.
Mr. Wall was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Wall, Woodrow Wall, Hancil Wall and Truman Wall; sisters, Grace Cupp, Kathryn Clubb and Jean Sabo.
Mr. Wall is survived by his wife, Maggie Wall and sons, Dean (Debra) Wall and Steve (Christine) Wall; sisters, Clara (Jim) Carroll and Genevieve (Jimmy) Mangrum; grandchildren, Courteney (Josh) Sisk, Caleb Wall, Matthew Wall and Luke Wall.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Walcott at 10:00am with Rob Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Walcott from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.
