Marion Bickerstaff, 73, of Tyronza, Arkansas, died February 10, 2012 at St. Bernard's Regional Hospital in Jonesboro, Ar.

Mr. Bickerstaff was a member of Tyronza First Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and was also a Farmer.

Mr. Bickerstaff was preceded in death by his parents Lena Mae Midgett and Rodger Hackney Bickerstaff and a sister Kathleen Turman.

He is survived by his wife; Carolyn Bickerstaff, of Tyronza, AR; three sons; Jeff, Phillip and David Bickerstaff all of Tyronza, AR;, three daughters; Frances Cook of Hughes, AR; Jeannie Bickerstaff of Tyronza, AR; and Maria Turner of Cabot, AR; and nine grandchildren; two great-grand children, two sisters; Anna Gracey of Forrest City, AR; and Rose Wilkerson of Mt. View, MO; three brothers; Rodger Bickerstaff of Arlington, TX; Wallace Bickerstaff of Lyon, IL; and Russell Bickerstaff of Jonesboro, AR.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Roller- Citizens Funeral Home. Services will be1:00 PM Monday, February 13, 2012 at Roller- Citizens Funeral Home with Interment following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR.

I always enjoyed seeing Coach, no matter where I saw him he was always up beat and fun. I look back on my life as he was a part of it and I remember how tough (I thought) he was on us in sports. He made me a better person and prepared me for what the world would throw at me. THANKS COACH.
