Clarence Sing, age 82, of Harrison, died Monday, April 12, 2010, in Harrison. He was born September 12, 1927, in Eudora, Mississippi, the son of George and Maybelle (Mooney) Sing. Mr. Sing was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and a brother.
Clarence was a member of the Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora, Mississippi. He was a hardwood floor installer for Knight Flooring Company. Clarence enjoyed his grandchildren.
Clarence Sing is survived by his wife, Sarah (Rand) Sing, of the home; his daughters, Teresa Smith of Harrison, Judy Pardee of Newport, North Carolina, and Shannon Meyers of Kingston, Arkansas; and his sister, Betty House, of Memphis, Tennessee.
Clarence is also survived by seven grandchildren, Rachel Smith, Maybelle Pardee, Jacob Fulghum, John Fulghum, Ronnie Burcham, Cole Burcham and Huston Pardee; a nephew, Ricky Rand; and a host of other family and friends throughout the community.
Visitation was Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral service was Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Gass Cemetery, with Bradley Clark officiating.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers were Jacob Fulghum, John Fulghum, Ronnie Burcham, Cole Burcham, Huston Pardee and Ricky Rand.
