Dear Corinne, Your mom and dad were so very dear to me. They would have us come over to practice our jr. high trio, your dad would clap for us and invite us to eat his homemade marshmellow candy. Your mom went way out of her way to take us places to perform, even driving us to the state fair, where we sang our rendition of "Blue Skies" while the rain dumped on us! I loved her music classes, she did so much to instill in us a love of all kinds of music, even opera, which I enjoy because of her taking the time to introduce us. She has left you a rich heritage, as I know you agree. She was also a wonderful friend to my mom. I know you look forward to seeing her and your dad in eternity. With love and prayers, Annabel Boyd DeMuth

My childhood would not have been the same without Mrs. Weatherall. I certainly did not appreciate her then as my elementary music teacher from 1959 - 1965, nor did I then appreciate her as my personal piano teacher from 1962 - 1971 (the year I graduated from high school). I think I was her biggest disappointment - she SO wanted me to major in music in college. I have many fond memories: sitting at her piano for those lessons, the recitals in her living room, Mr. W's glass candy, playing upstairs in Corrine's (whom I never met, but always heard about) bedroom, walking home down 2nd Street after my lessons. I can remember when she purchased the second piano so that we could practice two piano duets in her home. I can still see her in my mind's eye in the (old) sanctuary of the First Baptist Church playing the piano. What a blessing I experienced growing up in McGehee and having Mrs. Weatherall as my teacher!

Dear Corinne and Family: My deepest sympathy in the passing of your precious mother. She was certainly a lovely lady and I'm sure will be greatly missed. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. With love, Jim Gibbons

What great memories I have of Mr and Mrs Weatherall. Mrs. Weatherall taught my daughters, Beverly and Grenae, and Mr. Weatherall always had popped corn for them after lessons and brought them home. A wonderful and caring woman who served God, church and others. My sympathy to this family. Robbye Devine Bland

Mrs. Weatherall taught us about music, and culture, and passion. While my classmates and I were in elementary school in McGehee (1957-63), Mrs. Weatherall guided us through countless practices in the big elementary school auditorium so the concerts we would put on for our parents inside that auditorium would be as flawless as possible. We didn't realize, at the time, that those practices and performances were for our benefit. When she came to our individual classrooms for our music classes, Mrs. Weatherall taught us about classical music and composers, using her 78 rpm records and portable record player. She must have known everything about music and must have loved teaching it. We miss her.

Mrs. Weatherall was one of my all time favorite teachers. We were very blessed to have her for our music teacher & to have known such a fine person. I have very fond memories of her. Judy Hudgens

So very sad to hear about the passing of my former teacher, Mrs "singing " Weatherall. I have many fond memories of my 1st thru 6th grade years in her music class at McGehee Elem. School. She will be a wonderful addition to God's Choir. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Lloyd Evans, MHS class of '68

I know you are already know how much I thought of Mrs. Weatherall and what an impact she had on so many of her students. I've written an article for the McGehee Times in an effort to express how we all felt about her. She was tireless and accomplished so much during her life. We were so fortunate to have had her as our teacher.

I will always love Mrs. Weatherall! What a lovely lady and tremendous talent. She meant so much to countless students and budding musicians. The music in heaven will be sweeter with her there.

I have many fond memories of Mrs. Weatherall. I remember so well the rhythm band in the first grade and all of the many operettas we had during our elementary years. Throughout high school she worked with us through glee club and Baptist Church choir. There were 6 of us girls that sang together and I can remember going to her home for practice. She was so generous by giving her time to all of us. She was a wonderful person and gave us all a love for music. Sue Tubbs Pambianchi Class of 65

I graduated from McGehee High school in 1965. I was sad when I heard Mrs. Weatherall passed away. Although I didn't have any musical talent, I have nothing but fond memories of her. She was a real sweet lady and everybody loved her.
