Margie Dison Laxson, 64, of Mellwood, Arkansas passed away February 18, 2007, at her home. She was born November 13, 1942, in Athens, Alabama to the late Clifton Jack and Grady Louise Edge Dison. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Athens, Alabama.

Ms. Laxson is survived by a son Randall Bobo and his wife Dawn of Florence, Alabama, a step-son Kenneth Laxson of Harrison, Arkansas; 4 daughters; Marie Halle and husband Ken of Southaven, Mississippi, Julia Bobo of Florence, Alabama, Mary Caery and husband Ronnie of Elaine, Arkansas, and Susan Laxson of Mellwood, Arkansas, brothers; Charlie and Winston Dison, 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jesse Lee Laxson, and a sister Helen Dison.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Brother Daniel Attaway will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
