Mary Lee Jones McCown, 84, of Batesville passed away on
She was born
She is survived by a daughter, Martha Dale McCown Altom and her husband, Bobby of Jacksonville; a sister, Emma Lou Hedden and her husband, Donald of Batesville; a sister-in-law, Barbara Jones also of Batesville; one grandchild, Reid Altom and his wife Jamie of Sherwood; and two great-grandchildren, Abigail Lee Altom and Cade Alexander Altom both of Sherwood. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edgar McCown, and a brother, Ernest Jones.
Funeral services will be at
Pallbearers will be Michael Jones, Arch Jones, Sparky Hedden, Benny Hedden, Terry Hedden and Reid Altom.

We were so sad to learn of Mary Lee's death and know that your memories of her will be cherished and shared . She was a good friend and neighbor to Nat these many years. I remember her coming to Nat's visitation in May of 2005. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Welby and Grier Payne
