Sorry to hear of your loss. I only knew of Gladys through my great Uncle Melvin White. Everything he said about her was sweet and nice. A real fine lady, as he put it. I know you will miss her deeply.

Sam and Nadine: I'm so sorry that I didn't know about your mom. I was in California at my son's home for the Thanksgiving holiday. I knew your mom, of course, from school, but never had the privilege of having her for a teacher. She was always so cheerful and kind to all the kids. God bless you at this time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the McGhee family. Mrs. McGhee was my fifth grade teacher at Meadow Park Elementary school in North Little Rock in 1968. She was a fine person and a very good teacher.
