Sarah Lou "Susie" Groff of Little Rock went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 11, 2006. She was born in Altamont, Kansas to Wayne Henry Gillette and Vera Maye Scott Gillette. She was a beloved wife, mother, and faithful servant of the Lord. She was a longtime member of Grace Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dr. Jack Doyle Groff.

She is survived by a brother, Gerald Gillette and his wife Louise of Hockessin, Delaware; a son, Doyle Groff and his wife Jeanne of Bella Vista, Arkansas; a daughter, Ellen McLemore and her husband Dan of Little Rock, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Jaclyn, Jared and Jillian Groff and Bridget McLemore.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Grace Presbyterian Church with Chaplain Kathy Kaczmarek presiding.

A separate memorial service will be held at Presbyterian Village, Friday, November 17, 2006 at 2:00 P.M.

There will be a private family graveside service. Arrangements are by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 9301 N. Rodney Parham, Little Rock, Arkansas 72227.
