WARREN E. SHADE
71 of Paris, Arkansas died June 28, 2004 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a retired School Administrator, avid Razorback fan, loved spending time with his grandchildren, listening to country music and a member of First Baptist Church-Paris. He was a veteran in the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army and received honors as follows : Korean Service Medal, Bronze Service Star, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Service Medal and two overseas bars.
Preceded him in death were his parents, Leverett B. & Gladys M. (Sexton) Shade; two sisters, Wilma Shade & Doris Lasley.
Survivors include: Wife, Marjorie Jaunita (Brown) Shade of Paris; Two daughters, Denise Eoff of Thoreau, N.M. & Molly Sanders of Grove, OK; Two sons, David Shade of Bentonville & Doug Shade of Van Buren; Two brothers, Gerald Shade of Milwaukee, Wisconsin & Dale Shade of Adel, Iowa and 11 Grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2004, Roller Funeral Home-Paris.
Service: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2004, First Baptist Church-Paris with burial in Oakwood Cemetery-Paris & officiating Rev. James Kinney and Dr. Tim Prock.
Pallbearers: Gary Black, Gary Deffenbaugh, Tom Banhart, Bill VanMeter, Jackie Wood, Dale Galbraith, Rick Nehus. Honorary Pallbearers: Adult Sunday School Class-First Baptist Church-Paris.
