Lisa M. Acup Porter, 42, of Wilmington, Illinois, formerly of the Violet Hill area, died Thursday, June 29, 2006 in Wilmington. Born May 25, 1964 in Memphis, Tennessee to James Acup and Barbara Curtis Acup, she was an electrical engineer for T.T.S. of Elwood, Illinois.
She loved to fish, and loved to garden, but most of all loved her family. Survivors include her two loving sons, Daniel and Ethen, both of Wilmington, Illinois; her mother, Barbara; one brother, James Acup, and many aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Acup, and her maternal grandmother.
A Graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at 4:30 p.m., at the Fairview cemetery.
