Elizabeth Maureen "Tidgy" Corder of Helena, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 12, 2006 at the Helena Regional Medical Center in Helena, AR. Born October 13, 1915, she was 90 years old.

She is survived by her son, James S. "Bo" Corder and wife, Nancy, of West Heelna, AR; her sister, Ramona Stallings Rose and husband, Edgar, of Tucson, AZ; her granddaughters, Cherie Toney and husband, Ricky, of Forest City, NC and Karen Hesch and husband, Marty, of Jonesboro, AR; and one grandson, Kenneth James and wife, Jenie, of Cabot, AR.

Survivors also include 10 great-grandchildren: Jim and Mindy Toney, C.J. and Meredith Corder, Tristan and Ty Winters, Teagan Hesch, Marlee, Libby and Nick James. Two stepsisters, Geraldine Mercer of Tampa, FL, and Doris Linke of Little Rock, AR, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. "Jimmy" Corder; her daughter, Ethelyn Janis Wallace; two grandsons, James S. "Bo" Corder, Jr, and Herbert Duke Hunt, Jr. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Chalen Stallings and Ethel Woodrow Stallings, and stepmother Mabel Womack Stallings, and her brothers Woodrow, Lawrence and Curtis "Pete" Stallings.

Mrs. Corder was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Helena, AR.

Visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery in Helena, AR. Pastors Gary Henson of First Baptist Church and Al Majors will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 600 Franklin St., Helena, AR 72342.
