Vernon Lloyd Arick, age 82, of Conway, passed away Monday, June 7, 2004 at Conway Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 29, 1921 in Olmstead, AR to the late Samuel Nolan and Alsie Viola (Gentry) Arick.
He retired from Arkansas Best Freight, was a mason for 50 years, and was a member of Stanfield Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Ann Harper and husband Steve of Conway; a brother, Donald Arick of North Little Rock; five grandchildren, Tammy Arick of North Little Rock, Floyd Arick and wife Darla of North Little Rock, Brian Arick and wife Mona of Muneford, TN, Natalie Harper of Conway, and Sean Harper of Conway; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Robbie Arick and three sons, Bob Arick, Floyd Arick, and Nolan Arick.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Roller-McNutt Chapel, Conway with burial in Harmony Cemetery in Cato.
Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
