Hazel Lorene Lacewell, 81, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Born April 28, 1924 in Mt. Vernon to the late Jasper and Sally Sublett Starr, she was a member of the Church of Christ and was preceded in death by a son, Gary Lacewell.

Survivors include her husband, Truman "Manuel" Lacewell; a daughter, Joy Lynn Robertson and husband Dwane of Conway; two sons, Keith Lacewell and wife Ann of Conway, Eddie Lacewell and wife Deborah of Heber Springs; four grandchildren, Tanya Lynn Taylor, Michael Lacewell, Leland Schumacher, Danielle Morrow; and twelve great-grandchildren Eric, Bret, Shon, and Seth Taylor, Seth, Brandon, and Chase Lacewell, Jake Winters, Chloe and Emilie Schumacher, Reese Paglianite and Lauren Morrow.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Conway with Bro. Mike Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery, Enola. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Leland Schumacher, Michael Lacewell, Bart Ussery, Rodney Taylor, Jason Ussery, and Shane Keathley.

Honorary pallbearers are Brian Ussery, Todd Morrow, and Henry Ussery.
