I just found this site. Kendell and I were high school classmates and best of friends. We had so much fun together and shared the precious experiences of growing up in a small town. I learned of Kendell's death several years ago and I was heartbroken. The world needs more people like him, not fewer. Until we meet again...

Kendall-
We had some great times in college playing piano together. You were so so talented I hunted for you for years and was so sad when I found out you had passed. You blessed so many people by sharing unselfishly your God-gic\ven talents. Ill never forget you. We'll play the piano again when I get to heaven......I love you anad miss you.

Kendell,
Will be remembering all the good times and thinking about you all day tomorrow- you are a wonderful person that will always be remembered. Love you - David

Kendell,
Will be thinking about you tomorrow all day - God bless you always. Love - David

Kendell,
Will be thinking about you tomorrow all day - God bless you always. Love - David

Kendell,
It will be eight years tomorrow that you left this world - too early by anyone's standard. I will always remember your amazing talents on the keyboard, but most of all the times we went to see the concert by Kansas and the first Stars Wars movie - both during the confines of the hypocritical arena of BBC. We both laughed and felt great pulling both off without getting caught.
I will go by St. Francis tomorrow and light a candle for you Kendell. I sincerely loved the time I spent with you, but know you are in heaven looking down on us now in this arena we call life.
Love - David

I just found this website tonight - so sad to see this talented, intelligent and kind man depart this world so soon. I met him in Sprigfield at BBC but fortunately had time later with him in Houston area.
Such a talented pianist ...,very modest about his talents.
God bless you , Kendell.
Love & Hugs, David

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Kendell. We were good friends and I will miss him dearly.

Dear Family & Friends, I am currently on active duty. I was interim pastor at Woodmont Bible Church in Nashville. It was my pleasure to baptize Kendell. He was one of greatest servants of our Lord that I have known. May our Lord give you peace and strength in the days ahead. Prayerfully, Allen & Paula

Our prayers are with you. Ima and Norma

Our prayers are with you.

My heart goes out to the family. Regretfully, I didn't know Kendall until he was in the hospital. When I met him last summer, the first thing that impressed with all the health problems he had was his joy. He laughed and smiled a lot. He seemed very positive. My prayers are with the family.

I met Kendell only a couple of years ago, but he made a tremendous impression on me. I know Kendell loved the Lord with all his heart and know that he is now with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My sympathy is with Kendell's family during this time of loss and l know that God is comforting each and everyone of you. It was an honor to have known Kendell and was a real encouragement for me to see his strength and courage through his illness.

With deepest sympathy, love and prayers that God may grant you peace during this difficult time.

To Marla & All the Family, Although I did not personally know Kendell, I feel the loss with you as we prayed for him over the months. God is faithful and our prayers toward you are for healing and the comfort of the Holy Spirit during this time. May His Presence grace you in a special way as He demonstrates His love towards you.

To the Slayden family, I met Ken 8 years ago, he was such a fine person, and truly a great inspiration, I am sorry to learn of his home going but its comfort in knowing that he knew the Lord and his pain is over, someone raised a fine young man

Mary and family my heart goes out to you You have my deepest sympathy. Love and prayers Esther King, Larry and Mary Ivy

What an honor to have known Kendell in this life. He will forever be remembered in my heart, as the kindest, most unselfish and caring friend anyone could have. I look forward to the day when we will all see him again and hear him play. Peace, strength and God's Blessings to you, his family, during this time of great loss. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Dear Marla and Tim, May our precious Lord and Savior deeply comfort your hearts during this time. Our prayers are with you daily, as they were also with Kendall daily during his illness. We very much enjoyed our one visit with Kendall in Nashville when we met him for the first time. What a delightful guy! Mitch and I are today in awe and wonder at what Kendall is experiencing right now. Oh, to be able to just peel back that great "curtain" for a brief moment and see what some of our loved ones are already seeing, right there in the presence of Jesus! What a wonderful God we serve, to prepare such infinite, eternal joy for us. We will be in touch soon when things have settled down for you. May our God richly bless you during this time with deep revelations of Himself and His nearness. Much love to our two dear friends, Deb and Mitch

Dear Marla and Tim, You all remain in our thoughts and prayers at this time. Blessings and love, Jane and Arkansas Aglow
