William Ray "Cotton" Neeley, 80, of Batesville passed away on Monday, September 12, 2005 at his home.

He was born on Wednesday, March 25, 1025 in Springmill, Arkansas, the son of Burt Allen Neeley and Elizabeth (Money) Neeley. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Cushman Assembly of God.

"Cotton" is survived by his wife, Ozel Neeley of the home; his daughter, Angie Snapp of Jonesboro; three grandchildren: Tra Webb of Judsonia, Autumn Johnson of Cave City, Loyd Lambert of Alta Vista, Mexico; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Millspaugh and Irene Gibson both of Batesville.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen Lambert, a brother, Jeff Neeley and two sisters, Roberta Stevens and Mable Moore.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Sutton, Chris Sutton, Dean Stevens, Tra Webb, Chad Johnson and Ronnie Gipson

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Carl Blankenship officiating.
