Graveside services for Edgar Mitchell "Mike" Dunavan, Jr. will be held Friday, September 2, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.
Mr. Dunavan is survived by 2 brothers, Billy Harris of Lexa and William Dunavan of Pine Bluff, 2 sisters, Barbara Wadkins and husband, Sonny, of Marion, and Betty Holland and husband, Kenneth, of Marion, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

I had known Mike for 10 years I was also his Barber, I had just cut Mike's hair Tuesday Aug. 23 he was going to do some work for me he said one day that week. When he didn't come by I called him that Friday the 26th. He told me he was sick and having fluid build up around his heart. He was such a good guy and I felt it was a priviliage to know him! He will be missed very much!

I haven't seen "Mike" and the family since Grandma Adams passed away when I was 14 years of age until recently this year when I ran into him at my job. We talked in our passings, and caught up on affairs. I know I will miss the chance we had getting to know each other again. You will be missed.

We are sorry for your loss. Mike, my husband and I hunted togeather in Sheridan for along time. Mike would call us every once and awhile just to keep in touch. We wish we had known sooner we would have been there for the funeral. Mike was a real good person and we will miss him deeply. Sincerely Lois Cavin
