He has touched so many lives of athletes through the 100s of teams he has sponsored in the Twin Lakes Area and beyond.
Mickey truly loved his family. Nothing brought him greater joy than to watch his granddaughters play sports. He was an avid Nascar fan, known for Christmas lights and enjoyed making people laugh.

You and Mitch are in our thoughts and prayers. Mickey was such a wonderful man. I will never forget when you both were sitting in front of me at the football game against Batesville. Bobby had gotten hurt and I was ready to head down to the field when Bobby shook his head slightly no , so I sat back down. Mickey saw him and turned and said I will go check on him for you. He will forever be in my heart for that one kind moment. I pray for peace for all of you at this difficult time. God will see you threw it.
Mickey was just an awesome person to know! Since we are second cousins, I always loved it when my YS softball team would play Mt Home and Mandi and her team would face off against mine, and win or lose it was always extra special, because Mickey would be there and Uncle Carl! All our love from White Hall!
The world was a better place with Mickey in it We will miss him

I am very sorry for the families loss. Mickey was a big influence in my life even though he probably never knew it. I worked at the Lockeroom for a few months one year when I was pretty young and I still to this day have never been around anyone more generous than Mickey Huskey. I had been a customer before working there but I was a fan of Mickey after I worked for The Lockeroom. I have tried to follow his example of generosity in my community since I started my own business and I still to this day tell stories of my short time in his and Linda's employment. Love and prayers to his family and the community he lived in.
