Ottis Gene Gotcher, 71, of Greenbrier, passed away Monday, July 18, 2005, at his home.

He was born November 11, 1933 in Greenbrier to the late Ottis and Corine (Dempsey) Gotcher.

Ottis was a graduate of Greenbrier High School and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Greenbrier. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the DAV. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Rada Sue Gotcher; three sons, Michael Gene Gotcher and wife Gayla of Harrison, Ricky Lynn Gotcher and wife Becky of Greenbrier, and Steven Joe Gotcher and wife Tanya of Vilonia; one daughter, Judith Ann Moix and husband Buddy of Greenbrier; nine grandchildren, Teresa Kelley and husband Marshall, Heath Gotcher and wife Kristen, all of Greenbrier, Brooke Gotcher and Brittany Gotcher, both of Harrison, Joshua Gotcher and Jake Gotcher, both of Vilonia, Christopher Gotcher, Candace Moix and Cami Moix, all of Greenbrier; two step-granddaughters, Crystal Williams and Stephanie Williams; and five great-grandchildren, Mason Kelley, Hayden Kelley, Ashton Kelley, Dayton Gotcher, and Aniston Gotcher.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Church of the Nazarene in Greenbrier with Pastor Jim Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Thorn Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.

Pallbearers will be Heath Gotcher, Christopher Gotcher, Joshua Gotcher, Jake Gotcher, Buddy Moix, Marshall Kelley, and Jim LaRue.
