Nellie Lee Todd Taplin, age 99, of Sherwood, Arkansas, died Sunday, April 25, 2004. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by three sons, Clark L. Taplin, Jr., of Clinton, Arkansas, Carl K. Taplin of Searcy, Arkansas and Lynn C. Taplin of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Jean Coggins of Peoria, Illinois and Jolee (Dorothy) Houren Taplin of Mountainburg, Arkansas. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Jacksonville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 2630 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. I am the oldest daughter of Jolee Dorathy Talpin (died 3 months ago, September 2005) Grandaughter of Nellie Todd Taplin.
To the Taplin family: Our sincere condolescents. I remember Mr. & Mrs. Taplin living in Gravel Ridge. They had a big greenhouse and a Florist on Main Street next to Koehler's Bakery.
