Gallie Floyd Dycus, 65, of Conway, passed away Friday, July 8, 2005 at his home.

He was born on November 9, 1939 in Mayflower to Willie Mae Goff Dycus of Mayflower and the late Gallie Dycus.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the DAV.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Fowler Dycus; one son, Greg Dycus and wife Cindy; one daughter, Lisa Schichtl and husband Shawn, all of Conway; two brothers, Bob Dycus and wife Wilma of Jonesboro and James Dycus and wife Mary of Mayflower; three sisters, Francis Green and husband Clarence, Jr. of Mayflower, Mary Ann Baker of Marshall, and Sue Phillips and husband Phil of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Spencer and Savannah Dycus, Shawn D., Austin, and Madisyn Schichtl; and a host of special friends, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Rev. Burel Dycus and Rev. Keith Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Fowler Cemetery in Damascus.

Visitation is Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Gross, Jim Elliott, Tim Carter, Robert Alcon, Sam Boren, and Ken Ball. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Spencer Dycus , Shawn D., and Austin Schichtl.
