Leroy Ferrell, 87, of Imboden, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. He was born Monday, May 10, 1926 in Decatur, Illinois to the late James and Florence Lawrence Ferrell.
Mr. Ferrell was a plant supervisor for Southern Petroleum which became Belcher Oil. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Imboden and a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Francis Queen Ferrell; a brother; and a sister.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Milton Ferrell of Coldwater, Mississippi; a daughter, Carol Needham (Dennis) of Bald Knob; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Roberta Kelley of Imboden; a brother, Ray Ferrell of Illinois; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00am, Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at 3:00pm in Old Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Imboden.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Hackenburg, Tom Morgan, Monty Thame and Bud Stacey.

I loved my Uncle Leroy. I remember how much he loved my Aunt Francis. Sorry to hear about his passing. My prayers and thoughts are with you Milton and Carol Ann. Your cousin Marcia.

Milton and Carol, So very sorry for your loss. I was lucky to get to visit with Uncle Leroy almost 2 years ago. He was the same as I had always remembered him. Joking and telling stories. I truly enjoyed listening to him, Aunt Putt and my Dad tell of the ole days. I will always remember the good times growing up when all the Ferrell Family would get together. Take Care.
