Sylvester Eugene Huling, 71, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tennesse with his family at his side. Sylvester was born September 27, 1941 to William Ray Huling and Lillian Traylor Huling in Moro, Arkansas.
Sylvester is survived by his wife of forty six years, Ruby Huling of the home; one son, Chad Huling of Marianna and one daughter, April Notto (Michael) of Bartlett, Tennessee; one grandson, Logan Notto; two granddaughters, Hayley and Kaitlyn Notto; two sisters, Adell Rogers (Marshall) of Conway, Arkansas and Joyce Roberts (Ray) of Marianna; three brothers, Carl Huling (Hazel) of Moro; Abraham Huling (Mary) of Moro and Larry Huling (Grace) of McMinnville, Tennessee He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Margaret Sutterfield.
Sylvester was a member of Harvestland Church of Moro, past member of Arkansas Broadcasting Association, Marianna Jaycees and President of the Helena Lion's Club. He was a 1961 graduate of T. A. Futrall High School and Radio Engineering in Hot Springs; former partner/owner of KZOT Radio Station, Marianna, KWHA Radio Station. West Helena. He was Engineer and manager at KFFA Radio Station in Helena, Arkansas.
Services will be Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Harvestland Church in Moro at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mike Sanders and Reverend Rick Rutledge officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 26, 2013 also at the church from 6-8 P, M.. Roller-Citizens has charge of arrangements. Online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
Pallbearers will be Abraham Huling, Larry Huling, Neal French, Nicky Stevens, Andy Keown and Matt Keown. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Huling, Charles Nash, Henry Compton and Nephews.
