Kathleen (Kathie) Gardinier passed into the loving hands of heaven, Monday, January 21, 2013 at 12:44 noon. Kathie was born in Tupelo, MS to Ruth and Guy Dearman on June 1, 1943. Her proudest and most loving time in life was birthing and raising her only child Katie, Kathleen Dunivan of Jonesboro and her children, Seth, Emily and Allison Dunivan, all of Jonesboro.
Kathie is also survived by her husband of 34 years, George; and two half-brothers, Charles and Jake Davis of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Aubrey Guy Dearman.
Kathie's other passion was owning and operating her own business in Sebastian, FL, Wicker Etc., a furniture and decorator shop catering wicker, rattan and upholstered furniture. Her clientele covered the Atlantic Beach from Datona to Luaderdale.
Grandchildren became the pleasure of her life, and she relocated to Jonesboro in May 1998, along with a retired husband.
There will be no visitation or memorial, her desire was cremation and a remembrance by and to all with a face full of smiles.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

I'm sorry to learn of Kathie's passing. We met on chat and talked for a number of years. I visited with her and George in Jonesboro on two occasions. My condolences to George and the children.............Cookie
