Mrs. Dorothy M. Oxner, age 90 of Mountain Home passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born March 3, 1922 in Big Flat, Arkansas to Steve and Amanda Freeman Sisk. She married Dean Oxner . She was a member of the VFW Post 3246 Ladies Auxiliary and Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by a son, William(Nancy) Oxner of Mountain Home; numerous grandchildren including Kenneth (Mary) Oxner of Santa Clarita, California; a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Oxner; 2 daughters: Ruby Dean Thilmont and Dorothy Ann Oxner; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be from 10 until 11 AM Monday, October 29, 2012 at Roller Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM Monday, October 29, 2012 at Roller Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Granny, sorry I could not be there. Nothing is the same, and everything will be remembered. I hope you have all the answers now.

I will miss Dorothy. Always enjoyed visiting with her. Sorry to the family for their loss.She was a very nice lady.

Aunt Dorothy had a wonderful service today. She will be missed by everyone. She was a great lady and always had a smile for everyone. Love you and enjoy heaven with Mom and the family.

I will miss you and love you very much but I know now your in a better place surrounded by your loved one's in heaven. I am glad you could be reunited with Great Grandpa Oxner, Grandma Ruby and Great Aunt Ann. I will always cherish the memories you gave me, like we were sitting in the kitchen on the little side table, when you explained to me what your heaven would be, all filled of pies and ice cream. Love you so much.

Bill, Liz & I were sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. We know you will miss her dearly. We missed having you at the Rondo School Reunion last year. Email me when you get a chance so I can let you know when the next reunion will be. Your name pops up often at "The Rondo Boys" breakfasts we have about once a month. Dear Bill....so sorry to hear of Aunt Dorothy's passing...my sister's and I were just saying " we need to take a trip to Ark. to visit Aunt Dorothy and Bill". As we were growing up, she was a favorite Aunt....... You and Nancy are in our thoughts and prayers......Your cousins in Indiana, Love you, Maxine, Sybil, Gracie and Annie Belle.

Very nice lady she will be missed.
