Alice M. Fairfield Lacy, age 64 of Kensett, died Thursday at her home. She was born August 1, 1940 at Searcy, Arkansas to Robert Joseph Turpin and Lorene (Moats) Turpin. She formerly worked as a dietician for Leisure Lodge (Searcy Healthcare) Nursing Home and was a member of the Kensett First Baptist Church. She is survived by Richard Lacy, husband of 30 years; parents, Robert Joseph and Lorene Turpin of Kensett; two sons, Ricky J. Fairfield of Searcy, Donnie Wayne Fairfield of Kensett; one granddaughter, Courtney Jean Fairfield of Higginson; one brother, David Robert Turpin and wife Gereta of Kensett; three nieces, Cheryl Marie Rollins and husband David of Kensett, Jennifer Nicole Tiner and husband Sean of DeValls Bluff, Kelly Renee Fulks and husband Wesley of Searcy; three great-nieces, Brittany Gaines of Kensett, Taylor Tiner of DeValls Bluff, Haley Tiner of DeValls Bluff; and two great-nephews, Hunter Rollins of Kensett and Kyler Fulks of Searcy. She is preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Turpin. Funeral services will be Saturday at two o'clock pm at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be a private, family only service. The family has asked that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
